we have 55cards have exact same text. titles , backgrounds differ among cards. i've made 1 ai different backgrounds , text 1 copy in layer on top. now can hide each background layer , save pdf. unchecking preserve editing capabilities, file sizes let me know still including the images , backgrounds hidden layers. doing quick test , deleting hidden layers brings file sizes done considerably. i under impression saving pdf without editing capabilities saved needed particular pdf. seems wrong. have keep deleting hidden layers each copy?       you can in acrobat. save file hidden layers in illustrator "create acrobat layers top-level layers" checked. in acrobat: save other... > optimized pdf , in discard user data check > discard hidden layer content , flatten visible layers. hello,   i've created action in illustrator makes small rectangle dashed stroke (with 17 pt dash , 1000 pt gap dash adjustment turned on). way rectangle has sort of crop marks in corners. problem though when create action rectangle looks perfect when play settings messed up. although in action panel see dash 1: 17 pt , dash 2: 1000 pt in stroke panel dash 1000 pt , gap 0 pt. dash adjustment in no instead of yes.   the image below shows how rectangle looked when created action (the 1 above) , rectangle resulted when ran action (the 1 below). can see settings recorded in action panel , values stroke has right after action.   my question is: bug or doing wrong?   what version of illustrator using?   in illustrator cs5 similar action works expected, is, without issues describing above.   can share action (.aia file)? i have video project 1hour 12min long. 11 gb in size. can burned onto dvd of 4.7 gb ? a best buy techie advised me can compressed see on elements 8 . . . . . frustrated. you can fit 70-80 minutes of video on dvd disc.   it doesn't matter how large file now. program convert vob files when select option burn dvd and, in format, 4.7 gig dvd can hold 70-80 minutes.   i not ask best buy techie further advice, btw. apparently doesn't understand how dvds created. hello,   i doing website artist, continuously use original paintings (very large files sent me). use them in various places, in various sizes throughout web layout. each time need image, open original, image > image size, reducing , resampling drastically. drag image, (reduced) ps file working on (rather resizing in destination file). close original image, , "no" saving changes. next time need it, file "original" again , resize accordingly destination files needs.   am doing "destructive editing" original each time this, though not saving changes? have folder of "original" images stored never touched if causing issue.   thanks if not save file remains unchanged. change date of file should indicate much.   but placing image (file > place embedded) , rasterising smart object if necessary might more efficient. i know has been asked having severe issues ae , use of wacom tablet. started after updating our systems @ work 2015. tablet has of sticky feel , has of lag when dragging keyframes, scrubbing, layer selection ect. creates selection boxes when in timeline , seems go crazy layers , keyframes being moved odd behavior. on latest osx el capitan , using older wacom intuous 3 latest drivers. thoughts issue is? adobe? wacom? on intuous 5 lesser degree. i'm running out of ideas. appreciated. make sure running ae version 13.7.2. if not, update; issues fixed.   also, try older wacom drivers.   also, try running ae cc 2014 , see if behaves. remember, cc subscription includes older versions of ae too. may or may not know, ae cc 2015 first step in major re-architecture, separating renderer ui first time in ae's 20+ year history. big job , it's still in progress. it's necessary step improving after effects performance, it's taking while (and multiple versions) them through it. so

i started using 2 displays - macbook pro , asus.  running ps cc , moving items , forth between 2 not able move.  when tried drag panels other display moved higher on screen no longer move other display.  in mean time panels pushed way , can't reach top controls resize or move it.  tried turning off , on stays same.  how can these?  thanks! i windows user , not familiar how macs dual displays, sounds bit system not configured position of displays.  can select screen , drag position, when move cursor right, moves screen 2 onto screen three.  if screens configured way, physical positions different, confusing because cursor not appear obey mouse. so first of all, turn off second display can see panels, , reset workspace. then turn second screen on again after making sure physical , operating system agree on position. then arrange panels, , save new workspace.   don't forget can save custom keyboard shortcuts, , custom toolbar configurations in custom workspaces.  cool , useful fe

hi, i'd run script accesses computers on local network. so wondering if there way generate list of accessible network computers, way files in folder. you script that.  use windows net command directing output file. process file names of computers on network. use windows net command using computer name list directing output file each computer list of shares each computer.  process output file  share names , type disk, printers etc. windows creates administrator default shares , users may set other. computers neet , running. seen.   you can set homegroup sharing.  windows 10 previews.  keep breaking homegroup , pain fix broken homegroup.  need manually delete traces of broken homegroup on machines have on network reboot machines there no home known 1 network create homegroup , join users on machines. windows 10 previews being weekly thing these days no longer share using homegroup.  share old tried , proven way net shares.   not know how script homegroup resources. scenario: - page has 3 columns desktop, 2 columns tablet , 1 column smartphones. - because of responsive flow, elements of each column must grouped. - arrangement , sequence of same elements different @ diverse breakpoints. have made 3 layers containing of copies of same elements 3 breakpoints. - @ each breakpoint hide copies shouldn't seen. - works well   the problem: - need ungroup parts scale or reposition 1 or more elements ... hello again - ave question! thank helping me! i have purchased image shutterstock, , set of 9 seamless images on transparent ground. (attached) how separate each image?i have used grid lines , marquee tool snap crop grid lines, when create pattern fill - there fine lines in repeat, , think have removed 1 side(by pixel!) eps vector file. je découvre after effect... j'ai un soucis de correspondance entre la composition et le rendu final via adobe média encoder la couleur de l'arrière plan de la composition (peu importe la couleur) et toujours un arrière plan noir après le adobe média encoder                                   malgré plusieurs manipulations en modifiant les paramètres je ne parviens pas à solutionner le problème. un peu d'aide serait la bienvenue, merci the composition background color never render.  composition background cuddle color never render, not render cue.  background transparent , unless fill pixels. unless choose format supports alpha channels, alpha channels render black. media players play movie alpha channel black background. if want yellow background have put yellow solid or yellow shape layer on bottom of comp. Добрый день Имеется imac, 27" (конец 2013 г.), core i7 3,5 ghz, 16 gb 1600 mgz, nvidia gtx 775m 2048 mb, os x 10.9.5 периодически стал вылетать фотошоп (из пакета cs4 design standard), если, например, завести новую учетную запись и работать в ней, то может проработать несколько часов, но потом снова вылетает и так каждую минуту. Пробовал: Переустановить пакет cs4; Обновить photoshop до 11.0.2; Перестановить os x; проверил диск на ошибки, их нет. Может что-то еще посоветуете?
