Saving Illustrator as PDF without the hidden layers

we have 55cards have exact same text. titles , backgrounds differ among cards. i've made 1 ai different backgrounds , text 1 copy in layer on top.

now can hide each background layer , save pdf. unchecking preserve editing capabilities, file sizes let me know still including the images , backgrounds hidden layers. doing quick test , deleting hidden layers brings file sizes done considerably.

i under impression saving pdf without editing capabilities saved needed particular pdf. seems wrong. have keep deleting hidden layers each copy?      

you can in acrobat.

save file hidden layers in illustrator "create acrobat layers top-level layers" checked.

in acrobat:

save other... > optimized pdf , in discard user data check > discard hidden layer content , flatten visible layers.

bonjour,   une image sera plus parlante pour expliquer mon problème : je souhaite appliquer une couleur/texture pour mes routes, j'ai donc utiliser l'outil plume pour délimiter le contour qui m'intéresse. or celui-ci comprend les terres pleins, auxquels je souhaite appliquer une autre couleur/texture, même problème pour le rond point par exemple. comment puis-je soustraire une sélection (pas sur du terme) pour retrouver un terre plein blanc svp ?   sur photoshop cela correspondrait soustraire une selection     en espérant avoir été clair !   merci bcp ! After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
