Wacom tablet & AE causes messy "sticky" selections and lagging effects

i know has been asked having severe issues ae , use of wacom tablet. started after updating our systems @ work 2015. tablet has of sticky feel , has of lag when dragging keyframes, scrubbing, layer selection ect. creates selection boxes when in timeline , seems go crazy layers , keyframes being moved odd behavior. on latest osx el capitan , using older wacom intuous 3 latest drivers. thoughts issue is? adobe? wacom? on intuous 5 lesser degree. i'm running out of ideas. appreciated.

make sure running ae version 13.7.2. if not, update; issues fixed.

 

also, try older wacom drivers.

 

also, try running ae cc 2014 , see if behaves. remember, cc subscription includes older versions of ae too. may or may not know, ae cc 2015 first step in major re-architecture, separating renderer ui first time in ae's 20+ year history. big job , it's still in progress. it's necessary step improving after effects performance, it's taking while (and multiple versions) them through it. so, during time of transition they're introducing elements of new architecture, may easier use older version job done if screwy.
