Can I install CS6 on a new iMac?

will adobe creative suite 6—installed cd, not cloud—work in el capitan?

 

i've purchased new imac 21" (with external dvd drive), running el capitan 10.11.5.

i have boxed version of adobe creative suite 6 design & web premium, purchased in 2012.

 

1. can install cs6 boxed set on new computer? run problems?

i need able work on legacy files (indesign, photoshop, illustrator) if adobe cloud subscription ever cancelled.

 

(i subscription part of workgroup team. if terminate services, unable afford cost of adobe cloud subscription on own, , therefore lose access years of work—my own personal files theirs.)

 

2. have not yet installed cloud onto new computer.

should set adobe cloud before installing legacy cs6, or after?

cs6 , earlier programs have not been tested , not updated run on mac el capitan

-which means try use cs6 , earlier @ risk of having problems

-you may cs6 , earlier programs install , run, or may not (some do, don't)

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
