FM 12: Automapping failed

i using fm 12 generate responsive html5.

 

all actions i'm describing take place here:

 

i assumed able map paragraph style original framemaker template equivalent output style. here have tried:

1. the mapping seemed obvious enough, manually mapped few items easy, h1 heading 1.
2. then realized many of original template paragraph styles did not have equivalents in output styles list.
3. i reread framemaker 12 documentation , clicked paragraph @ top of styles panel, selected automap paragraph styles checkbox, , clicked save.
4. filled hope, clicked original template style, bullet2, that  wished map.
5. alas, output style field said [automapping failed. add stylename css].
6. i reread documentation more, exported styles original fm template .css, , imported new .css project (in other words, clicked export styles, waited reverent moment, clicked import styles).
7. repeated step 4. same result.

 

what missing? how map fm styles style responsive output?
