Powershell and Adobe Acrobat

dear all,

 

i have lot of pdf files, want extract information. in particolare want extract ids printed on pdf document in bold. pdf documents contain list of events, events interesting me printed in bold in pdf file. hand there no problem this, since have several documents ( few hundreds of them ) not make hand.

i own adobe acrobat 9 pro, heard sdk, , wanted automate task, possibly using powershell.

i have heard, other programming languages achieved.

where can have more information on issue ?

all acrobat developers need sdk. there no command line interface, powerful ole , javascript combination. consider extracting each word on every page , checking location if know text in same place. these interfaces not give font names. (bold not style in pdf).  plug-in in c++ maybe this, developing unlikely save time compared few hundred documents.

 

but sdk, it's free , essential!
