Captivate 9 JAWS Compatibility

i have accessibility features working well, after lot of trial , error.  there still 2 items make impossible captivate can compatible screen readers. 

 

1.  reading of text interrupted screen reader saying "graphic."  annoying , cannot make go away.  please figure out , create patch make stop!

 

2.  there no pre-made question interactions work screen reader. extremely important adobe give @ least 1 option read following items in logical way our visually impaired community can use:

 

1. read question

2. read each of possible answers

3. ensure method selecting correct answer indicated

4. read feedback answer, , tell user try again if answer correct.

 

 

as far have been able tell internet research there no other rapid development tool can deliver functionality.  able overlook captivate's other flaws if have question object works properly, , please make stop saying "graphic!"

 

if there workaround or other way configure file make existing questions work screen reader, please let me know!

i think should point out forum not adobe support or guaranteed way log enhancement requests captivate.

 

this user forum captivate users (just you) try 1 out.  adobe staffers watch forum , offer assistance.  if have ideas improving captivate, should logging them on form page found on adobe website.  writing them here isn't best way adobe's attention.

 

as far issue screen readers saying graphic:  because that's text objects on slide are...captivate converts them graphics.  screen reader quite correctly telling user sees graphic, , captivate sets text in caption or smart shape descriptive text graphic gets reads out reader software.  have not graphic require reprogramming reader software, or reprogramming captivate not turn captions , smart shapes graphics.

 

for worth, responsive projects don't turn graphics.  may want experiment type of project see if better results accessibility.  in view related accessibility boils down compromise of type.  never want.

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
