Acrobat Reader don't print


hi everyone, i'm administrator of school roaming profile , windows 8.1.

i'm sorry bad english.

 

some users can't print acrobat reader (we have installed acrobat reader dc last update),

if these users try print nothing happens.

if try change settings in "page setup" fields disabled.

another users in same machine don't have problem.


i deleted "adobe" folder profile in application data: roaming, locallow , local subfolders, , removed registry key "hkey_current_user\software\adobe"; this not solve problem.


i tried disable "protected mode al startup" , there changes:

- printer gui slow (file print --> wait 5-10 seconds --> show gui)

- when start print, after 15-20 seconds there alert message "the document cannot printed" , message "no selected page print"


in internet found lot of solutions; 1 of these disable "protected mode al startup", when this, have situation depicted above (printer gui slow + alert message), not solve problem again.

can me?

hi sebastian d'alesio,

 

please try following:

open adobe acrobat/reader navigate edit menu -> preferences

  • under documents, change 'view documents in pdf/a mode' never
  • under security (enhanced), disable protected mode @ startup

click ok confirm changes.

relaunch acrobat/reader, try print pdf file.

 

also refer kb doc help: troubleshoot pdf printing in adobe acrobat , reader

let know if issue still persists.
