How to edit (erase) portions of a PDF scanned document?

i've downloaded acrobat dc , trying use edit previously-scanned b&w document (the document pdf large-format scan of sewing pattern -- line drawings , text). 

 

what want delete (or @ least mask out) small portion of of detail on scanned document in order insert new text or make other corrections.  can't seem find tool anywhere on acrobat dc allow me select small section of pdf image , erase portion of image within selected boundaries, way can microsoft paint example. 

 

is there "eraser" tool i'm missing?  or other method select , erase/delete small portion of pdf image?  do not want change overall dimensions of image, or affect rest of image @ erasing portion -- mask section white.

 

i'd grateful this.  if can't work, i'm going have cancel trial subscription acrobat, because it's useless me otherwise.   thanks!

bonjour,   une image sera plus parlante pour expliquer mon problème : je souhaite appliquer une couleur/texture pour mes routes, j'ai donc utiliser l'outil plume pour délimiter le contour qui m'intéresse. or celui-ci comprend les terres pleins, auxquels je souhaite appliquer une autre couleur/texture, même problème pour le rond point par exemple. comment puis-je soustraire une sélection (pas sur du terme) pour retrouver un terre plein blanc svp ?   sur photoshop cela correspondrait soustraire une selection     en espérant avoir été clair !   merci bcp ! After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
