Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 crashes then continues to crash when I try to re-open it

this happening friend of mines computer too. have surface pro 4 16gb ram i7 processor , 500gb hard drive. friend has surface pro 3 i7 8gb ram. both running windows 10.

 

for 2 days illustrator has been crashing, first happened when tried save out file, gave me notification this:

for while give same notification while ai initializing, adobe start , give me access settings etc. when trying open file crash , give same message.

 

i have gpu processing turned off (as fix different problem) other settings @ default.

 

if can hugely grateful i'm coming end on final year on design course , desperately need program finish.

i'm having same problem, date windows 10, surface pro 3, i7, 258gb, 8gb ram.

all other adobe cc software working.

repro

1.open illustrator cc 2015 (normal loading)

2. open file new, or open.

3. 3 screen shots of crash (separate occasions)

i have uninstalled , re installed illustrator , chosen option forgetting settings still produce same error.

 

any ideas why happening?

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
