Keyboard Shortcuts not Working upon opening a Saved file

hello all

 

another weird 1 here. have run issue when go , open save indesign file shortcut ctrl+p several other ctrl based short cuts including zooming in , out on spread (ctrl+, ctrl- or ctrl+0) not work. here weird part, if drop in text box brings ability use other ctrl shortcuts open file instance. moment close file , open saved file or open same file again same issue occurs. note though, if not have file open ctrl shorcuts work apply such opening new file (ctrl+n). when working brand new file ctrl shortcuts work. when open saved file issue works.

 

is else having issue?

 

is there fix?

two possible solutions:

 

(1) restore indesign preferences:

 

trash, replace, reset, or restore application preferences

 

(2) find conflicting third-party software

 

there conflicting third-party software on computer. example, chrome plug-ins. restart computer. launch indesign first before open else , see if problem goes away.

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
