Using Grep to replace hypens

hi all,

 

i trying change year spans in document hypens replaces en dashes. hypens have space before , after them:

 

ie

 

want change:

 

1970 - 1995

 

to

 

1970–1995

 

obviously great not change hyphens reside elsewhere in indd doc. tips appreciated! thanks.

find:  \d{4}\k\h-\h(?=\d{4})

replace by: ~=
