I have a field Hours multiplied by Rate....the result goes in the Amount field. I do not want there to be a ZERO place holder in the Amount field. So far, as long as there is a calc, there has to be a ZERO, can that be changed?

you can use custom validation script force value of field null string when value of field zero.
