Lightroom CC running extremely slow on MACBook Retina ElCapitan

hi there,

i know there endless list of posts similar title. anyhow - went through of them cc still running turtle. in develop mode. once use more 3 local adjustments can forget working. takes 10 -30s move brush example. catalog quite stable. 1:1 previews loaded - cpu @ 0% before start working. getting high 350% , fans running @ max after 5 min.

here setup:

macbook pro retina 13""

3 ghz intel core i7

8 gb 1600 mhz ddr3

intel hd graphics 4000 1536 mb (unfortunately unsupported adobe)

that's deactivated. tried start lr in 32bit - modus - - no fun. lr , el-capitan updated it's newest version.

this deactivated:

-> face detection

-> adress search

-> automated writing of metadata

-> graphic prozessor acceleration

-> open import window when card detected

any highly appreciated. lr5 running smooth , if problems not disappear need continue lr5 , not lrcc. heaving lrcc running on likewise system without problems?

greetings brazil

hi martin,

could try check in safe boot , see if same issue persists.

try safe mode if mac doesn't finish starting - apple support

regards,

gautam
