Text box & text box layer and how they relate to font metrics

my main question how photoshop place fonts inside text box?

 

for fonts seems text box aligns cap height of font top of box (like helvetica), other fonts seems taking account other metrics (like bodoni 72 smallcaps book). baseline within texbox seems shift , down regardless of keeping font size constant. layer text box within, has font-dependent offset doesn't seem based on bbox.

no fonts same , coded same.

quality made opentype fonts best.
