Word to pdf produces tints behind text

i have customer makes pages in word, converts pdf print from. has produced advert pages have text oin them showing tint behind text if highlighted, word document or version of pdf? there easy fix?

this question has absolutely nothing type , typography. question of creating pdfs. such, moving thread appropriate forum.

 

without further information, virtually impossible answer question. example, version of word being used on platform (i.e., windows, macos)? how pdf file being produced? microsoft's own pdf creation? adobe acrobat pdf creation? settings options being used create pdf file? “color” text? “black” text? , customer should aware “black” or “gray” in microsoft applications rgb black or gray (r=g=b) , depending upon how create pdf file or process afterwards, think black or gray may rendered other inks (for printing).

 

you might want post (on server can access) sample of offending pdf files analyze.
