Email link with customer's admin email address

we include email link in our product's webhelp allow our users send feedback on specific topics (none received far live in hope someone, somewhere, reads help...).

 

a customer has asked if it's possible include email link in topics send email that customer's sys admin.

 

clearly, search , replace on htm files trick, e.g. replace company's doc feedback email address customer's email on send feedback link. there more elegant way of doing this?

 

• the email address used in link specified when product installed. installer go through htm files , make replacement.
• the email address specified in separate file , included somehow in htm files, 1 file need changed installer.

 

anyone solved already? 2nd option above possible?

i assuming looking send en email user's system, right? if send automatically in background, need server side solution.

 

i see 2 options: variable sets , javascript.

• with variable sets, set email address variable. , configure set every customer. make end unique output per customer.
• with javascript, put logic email link script. have single file email address stored. 1 place update. see peter's site script examples: email topic
