Quicktime for Windows Vulnerability - WHAT TO DO?

tl;dr:  numerous security agencies recommending uninstalling quicktime (qt) on windows platform, apple has announced qt vulnerability , no longer supporting qt windows.

 

simply search "quicktime vulnerability" on google

 

now, being said, apple has never supported quicktime windows.  in short-sighted plan there has been 32-bit version supports 1 physical cpu core. ...and has been frustrating when importing , exporting.  sure, apple update player , add new codecs on years, little else. in short, wanted purchase mac.  file playback , web, there better alternatives.


however...  premiere has have qt installed on windows versions able import , export qt files.

  • what future of qt compatibility on windows machines adobe software? 
  • how effect import , playback of quicktime prores files?
  • how windows users of pprocc able deliver qt.mov files clients?
  • can away qt player model , have "codec pack?"

 

any preemptive insight great.

 

to keep information accurate can be, please not speculate on post.  let's hear adobe (todd kopriva , gang).  @kopriva

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
