Format a comment summary?


issues related on web, , forums, i'm not seeing specific question addressed.

 

i cannot person comment reports (also annotation, etc. reports) formatted differently, , conceivably different different purposes.

 

we/i tend work long documents (manuscripts).  in writing review or detailed commentary author(s) , editor(s), useful able generate comment report a) don't have worry missing note somewhere , b) retype (sometimes detailed) comment scratch if decide pass along.

 

at present, have generate report, copy text clipboard , paste word.  hand adjust information in each note needed edit it, , format appropriately.

 

i *really* streamline process little in generating report inside acrobat.

 

  • i'd 1 continuous list instead of separated onto different pages.  not issue when paste word, on off chance notes detailed enough i'd send report on
  • i'd change formatting within report (for instance)
    • date/time can excluded, or formatted differently (or matter author, if there's one)
    • page heading, author/date information, etc. smaller and
    • comment contents bigger (since content of comment more important made or when)
    •   , really, make life easier downstream, include line number or make easier find on page exaclty being commented on

 

really making these changes pasting text word serious pain, since nothing formatted or styled changes can made @ once.

 

i've worked javascripts can of this, i'm not scripter enough understand how work , edit them output want output.

 

and seems me basic *look* of report, re: font sizes , on, should settable preferences inside acrobat

 

so that's rant.  thoughts?

agreed 100%. think nice not have space dedicated the author , type of comment.

 

i file feature request this. feature request/bug report form
