Adobe Premiere Elements not saving videos

i work on number of video projects adobe premiere elements 13. have clients waiting products, premiere elements 13 has stopped saving videos properly. avchd computer dropdown selection of mp4-h264 1920x1080p 30. has worked me ever since started using programme. however, in last week, has stopped working. still exports status bar in top righthand corner of programme, , still says finishes exporting. however, when find in documents , play it, plays halfway through, audio cuts out, makes funny buzzing sound , skips straight end of video, audio , video out of sync beginning. around same time, programme has stopped asking me update when start programme, don't know if problem or not. tried update programme few weeks ago, , said updated, same , continued ask me update. continued few days, started ignore box asking me update, , closed , used programme. maybe saving problem result of "not updating" if update didn't process properly? have absolutely 0 problem playing videos exported before problem began, problem not video player - premiere elements 13. me please, because have clients waiting videos.

i think may have hardware problem.  first, worked before.  second, in following user forum few years, i've not seen repeat itself.  third, hardware problems such disk failures can creep gradually.

 

just in case, might try resetting preferences.  https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/preference-file-locations-photoshop-elements .html   try complete uninstall , reinstall. 

 

i hope i'm wrong hardware!  luck.  won't simple.
