Stacked Floated Panels - Set them to same size.

hello,

 

how can set panels same size? can see in picture, character , transparency panels have different sizes. double clicking changes between default sizes not coincide other panels.

 

i have arranged workplace this, efficiently swap between stroke, character, appearance, etc. yet, each time click 1 of this, whole size of panels re arranged, making super inefficient alter between stacked panels....

 

any way set them same size color panel, in case, remains unchanged in size?

 

when jump between pallets have fixed height, pallets above and/or below change position in accommodation. i’ve seen, illustrator try keep pallets compact possible giving preference pallets above other pallets.

 

if @ image below, i’ve put stroke , transparency pallets , align pallet below them. when show transparency pallet, on left side of image, align pallet moves because 3 pallets have fixed height , transparency pallet shorter stroke pallet.

 

 

on 1 hand argue “better” top 2 grouped pallets use same height tallest pallet, limit number of pallet groups have in horizontal stack. having non-selected pallets change location according height of active pallet, allows stack lot of pallets in different groups because illustrator hide pallets aren’t active can see ones want.

 

additionally, if pallets didn’t resize , used tallest pallet in group constant height pallets in group, end lot of dead space between pallets isn’t being put use.
