Can't figure out combination of rollover image/button/drag & drop

hi all,

 

i'm using captivate 9 , working on interaction has me stumped. i'm trying set images used drag-and-drop interaction, , want images have rollover state indicate clickable. when clicked, information box display provides more info user determine correct items dragged , dropped.

 

i tried @ first use regular image , add 'rollover' state, couldn't figure out how assign action indicate when state go effect. (is there way associate mouse hotspot image?) tried use image button, worked great far using rollover state , used conditional formatting , variables more info boxes display when the item clicked. however, didn't realize until had finished setting part buttons cannot used drag objects, d'oh.

 

i thought using invisible button on image more info display , image still used drag-and-drop object, brings me not knowing how rollover state work. :/

 

any suggestions how can achieve trifecta of rollover state/button/drag & drop?

you cannot have interactive objects drag sources, nor drop targets. interactive objects have inbuilt rollover state appears automatically when cursor on object.

drag sources , drop targets have inbuitl states, rollover not 1 of them. have @ article see inbuilt states in drag&drop:

custom states 1 created object, can triggered event. rollover normal object not event, explains why cannot change state on rollover. except, maybe (didn't check out) using cpextra widget infosemantics (only html output), can used eventhandler (another widget them swf output).

 

you can trigger action when drag source dragged drop target, using object actions (more in: drag&drop tips - captivate blog ) not before dragging asked.

 

at moment don't see way accomplish asking (and first time see such question in forum). have d&d?
