Can't edit an imported placed Ai file

hi

 

i've placed native ai file  ai document , can't edit imported file.  has bounding box can adjust size with, won't let me change color.  logo outlines not true text, mean can't subsequently edit it?

 

i've included second screen shot of error message when import / place 1 ai file another.

 

any appreciated.

what place not ai file, pdf private data fork. in case need edits, copy/paste might better way.

 

that said: embed file , can edit has stayed editable.

 

the error tells color management set differently now. keep cmyk numbers. when file has been set converted profile.

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
