Changing fonts?

i have 2 questions:

 

1. on internet explorer there seems line @ bottom of 3 tabs below ad. have borders set 0. can't find causing it!

2. i'm trying change font adding webfont. old font named "regular" , used in lot of css want replace font deleting old font named regular , uploading new font naming regular. don't understand why it's not working. it's still showing old serif font instead of new sans serif style font. changed stylesheet in webfonts folder to

 

@font-face {

    font-family: 'regular';

    src: url('roboto_regular.ttf') format('ttf');

}

 

and added ttf file in same folder. tried doing dreamweaver's "add webfont" made same changes made, of course didn't work.

 

any ideas did wrong?
