Invalid Serial Number - Acrobat Pro - Known good number

i reinstalling acrobat pro xi on machine try fix error appeared apparently after recent adobe update.

 

(error was:  there problem adobe acrobat/reader.  if running, please exit , try again (4:4)) - opening links in ie 11.  turning off protected mode @ startup caused 1:104 error)

 

we "invalid serial number.  not valid serial number" message. 

 

the sn our known corporate license 1 bought our reliable var.  installs on other machines. 


the option select evaluation mode cannot selected (program hangs). 

 

when try install adobe reader (as alternative), "error 1719.  windows installer service not accessed".

 

some other msi files seem work correctly.  exe files install correctly (i able install competitor's reader app temporarily).  windows installer service up. 

 

machine:  windows 7 sp1 new build

this recurs after:

*     adobe cleaner program
*     system restore

*     re-registering msiexec

*     sfc /scannow

*     admin vs. non admin account installation

 

could please advise?  checked windows update 3139923, not installed on machine.   there windows patch missing or else need on system side?

the issue has been resolved.  run similar in future after checking sns out, here happened.

 

*  removed microsoft patch kb3139923

(kb 2918614 named problematic windows installer machine didn't have it

*  full windows update of other "older" patches (this new install , didn't have on besides sp1 ... partly because rolled out new wsus server , "older" stuff wasn't approved yet)

* reboot

* next installation attempt acropro.msi threw error message "microsoft visual c++ 2010 x64 redistributable not installed".

*  downloaded , installed redistributable

*  next installation attempt worked normal

 

the machine new build apparently didn't have needed support installation.  ran s/n problem machine had been restored factory makes lot of sense.

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
