Premiere Pro Performance
i've had performance issues premiere pro last year or so. techs adobe have taken on machine tens of times, i've uninstalled/reinstalled several times. first thought problem trashcan style mac pro - year ago apple replaced brand new 12 core 32gb monster should able handle absolutely , more - , through many updates of cc there have been - i'm still having same issues.
issues:
• playback terrible. @ lower resolutions. stutters, doesn't keep - sorts of problems.
• shuttle non-existent. dragging playhead - audio plays should - video stays is.
• multicam - same thing. strange behavior , terrible performance. difficult work.
• titler - strange one. when open titler- forget it. beach ball of death makes appearance , takes forever anything. totally falls apart.
• ame: when export ame - exports fine. - can't quit ame. "quits" - can't shut down computer because hasn't quit. still shows in forequit window - won't let me force quit it. again - it's strange. (adobe has said issue solved in next release…)
• audio - don't know why - changing audio preferences in pp - , changing - seems help. doesn't though.
my system:
mac pro (late 2013)
2.7 ghz / 12 core intel xeon e5
32 gb ram
d500 graphics
internal drive 500gb flash drive holds applications etc.
external drive 6tb promise pegasus r4 drive

i use pro tools , other audio software ton. never have of open @ same time. still - feel there conflict somewhere. that’s based on nothing whatsoever… it’s pro tools big clunky software prone causing problems. again - never have running when using adobe software , don't see suspicious running in background on activity monitor.
my uses:
all of footage 4k .mov panasonic gh4’s.
most projects 3 camera multi-cam.
things i've tried:
• complete clean install. when got latest new computer- put nothing on adobe cc. still problems.
• uninstall/reinstall
• file trashing (adobe techs have connected , tried of things try).
• i've tested pegasus drive black magic speed test , seems fine.
• spent year talking apple, thinking apple issue. sent me new beefier computer. same issues.
• i’ve tried comparing exact same project , media loaded on pegasus - , loaded on owc thunderdrive. same results both ways.
any suggestions or appreciated. driving me nuts , making work super-frustrating.

looks need render sequences. have tried that? trying playback 3 streams of un-rendered, effect applied footage... lot of strain on machine.
