Tags don't come over correctly from PSE 14

when going lightroom , doing file > import photoshop elements catalog pse tags come on there many missing tags , bogus tags well.  example famous zzabc@11# tag.  unfortunately when bought standalone version of lightroom did not know tag how later found similar threads outlining problem:

final word: not able find solution in adobe forum. chatted official adobe lightroom technician, wrote: "i inform importing catalog pse 14 lr 6 not work well." , "however, can import catalog lightroom 5 , upgrade catalog in lightroom 6, should fix issue". have done that, , did not work, giving exact same wrong result. technician said refer case @ next level , contact me. never happened, never heard them.

the above quote sums quite well.  know issue tags don't covert on correctly lightroom keywords.  there attempt made tag conversion doesn't work.  since have on 20,000 photos don't have time or inclination correct problem photo photo.

if adobe tech says (less 3 months ago) doesn't work well, imagine answer question there no known fix.

 

only adobe can tell if there fix on way, , don't make public comments on upcoming bug fixes, unless it's particularly major bug fix.

 

you try having pse write tags photo files, , in lightroom reading metadata files again, , see if helps. (caution: have never tried this, might want make backups of — photo files , catalog files — before try)

After Effects: could not find dvaeve_dialogs.txt

hello,   i getting error message when trying launch application:   after effects warning: file 'c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cs6 \supportfiles\dvaeve_dialogs.txt' not found.   the application working fine without issues until today. there has been no system changes on computer either.   any ideas on how resolve issue?   thank reinstall prgram.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
