Is it more accurate to stitch panorama shots in CameraRAW or in Photomerge? Photoshop CC2015

hello,

i starting raw files taken on tripod panoramic head. talking photoshop cc2015.

i'd know if, in order produce more accurate results (and given barrel distortion @ wide angle used), i'd better stitch:

1. directly in cameraraw selecting multiple files , choosing create panorama

2. directly using photomerge , selecting correct geometric distortion

3. firstly correcting each shot barrel distortion in cameraraw, selecting them again in cameraraw after have associated xmp file (which keep barrel distortion correction associated each shot when merging them?)

4. firstly correcting each shot barrel distortion in cameraraw, exporting them in 16 bit tiff photomerge them.

5. other options.

any input welcome, thank much

i have experimented both ways. far 1 being more "accurate" other concerned, don't believe there measurable difference. created panorama (12) 24 mp raw files. computer has 8 gb of ram. believe panorama created more using lightroom because there 1 program involved left more ram available processing. 1 advantage of using lightroom or camera raw create panorama resulting panorama file saved dng file. if using camera has multiple profiles such camera vivid, camera standard, landscape, etc. switching profiles on panorama have effect on image. photoshop going create tif or psd, won't have option switch profiles.

after having said that, think best thing experiment , decide yourself.
