Annoying iOS/plist web caching issue

here’s me prob: i’m developing app using apple enterprise distribution certificate , valid, current provisioning profile. updated version of app (say version #38), updated manifest (.plist) file goes onto server we’re using app testing. older .ipa (version #37) removed server.

safari on ipad still tries download version #37, though version no longer there , manifest file points version #38. when address download page other ios device, device sees correct version.

clearing web data, entirely, no good. shutting down pad, restarting safari no good. 1 thing worked, briefly, update ios version. cleared problem, 1 try.

it seems ios not clearing ‘web data’ when asked to, doesn’t it?

has seen bloody pain before?
