Digital River Ireland blocking the payment? Eh?


i've been happy user of creative cloud applications (photoshop+lightroom , premiere pro) year now. such, annual subscription has expired , it's time place order new one. sounds simple enough, right? nope!

 

so log account, choose subscription plan, agree terms, log paypal , confirm amount of money deduced. business usual, stuff you'd see on other web store. finally, there's 1 button press — 'i confirm'. aaaand... message pops up, prompting me contact support because there's been error. if press again , 'payment_cpg_settle_failed'. fine.

 

i contact live chat support. blame paypal , tell me go 'notify' them new transaction. 'once have notified them, place new order again. able place new order without issues'. full of hope of not failing deadlines phone pp customer service. go through account , find unfinished transactions. sound positively puzzled situation: account fine, there's enough money, it's in standing. support lady can't clear transaction on own; calls billing team — can't clear either. apparently, digital river ireland (the ones receiving money, adobe's reseller in russia) not letting go through.

 

so i'm stuck. support has been largely unhelpful, telling me try doing new account (doesn't work) or try payment method. sure, try credit card why should obliged that? have no idea how contact digital river , ask them situation , in honesty, think adobe support's responsibility figure out.

 

has encountered similar this? i'm totally stumped here.
