Interactive Html5/Canvas Freezes Mobile Phones


hello,

 

i once flash designer, , since apple _ google announced flash no longer supported on mobile devices. have been without interactive/animation platform supported on mobile phones/tablets without having in air or develop native app.

 

along came edge animate... okay... @ least worked on mobile phones... thought replacement awesome tool flash was.

nope... adobe yanks away , gives animate cc.

 

i thought okay... @ least in environment know....

anyways.... made interactive html5/canvas using "button" go each individual frame. does.

 

works great on desktop pc... when view on android phone, wicked slow (scrolling entire webpage slow)

tapping on 1 of buttons (which has hover) takes several seconds go desired frame.

after 3 time switching pages... canvas totally freezes phone , have hard rest of phone.

i expected animate cc response way better on phone this.

if true, animate cc (aka html5/canvas) not ready prime-time yet on mobile phones...

then have nothing use develop interactive content can display on mobile phone without create native app or using air.

can shed light on interactivity , mobile phones animate cc (aka html5/canvas)

update on issue described above.

 

1) after hours of seeking , looking better framework animate cc.

i have come realize problem isn't animate cc.

but, issue mobile phones in general tries run html5 canvas technology.

 

i have download greensock, pure coding (no gui).... looks promising true tweening/interactive framework using svg.... can use in animate cc... however, users report poor performance on mobile forms.

 

smart mobile phones lack power of desktop , have redraw canvas or deal phones don't have proper support slowing down our interactive animations. have read countless articles on poor performance of html5 canvas on phones. it's not canvas poor, poor performance of phone.

 

2) so, in light of that, trying create interactive (and animations) complex may not work on phones yet , wish.

so, created same content in link above using images , javascript. no canvas @ all.

 

it works great on phones because plain old html.

but, boy, still love freedom of designing , flash , still worked on phones.

 

3) so, because kind of feel don't have viable platform create interactive content work on devices...

is there way wrap flash in layer (or something) still work on mobile devices, ios?
