Illustrator cursor beach-ball keeps on visible for minutes after batch process ?

hi folks,

 

i've 2 plugins runs batch process of creating document --> apply art --> close document -->. repeat 10-50 time, when run plugin on windows works fine on mac after completing process gets exported fine @ last cursor beach-ball keeps on visible minutes. guess executing under hood . please if possible.

i moan on here :batch woes

and came workaround: avoid closing documents , if multiple documents result batch output, find way enable use of 'quit' command auto-closes documents , unless stopped user (in condition of having 1 changed document before batch process opens of many docs), app quit.

 

not sure if inserting $.sleep(); in case, alternative: i've seen mentioned working solution here.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...
