Missing margin and bleed lines

running indesign cs5 on mac osx 10.10.5

i have 2 documents open. 1 of them not display margin , bleed lines, other does.

i in normal viewing mode looking @ both documents. have switched , forth preview several times...no change.

the problem file has been working until few hours ago.

i tried exporting idml file , re opening indd. same result.

 

what gives? thoughts?

the time have ever seen phenomenon when started new document using new document dialog box, , had preview switch turned on. in 1 out of 3 tries, margin , column guides hiding, , there no turning them on. began avoid preview switch, , never saw problem again. observations here, tho.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...
