LR 6 not functioning

running os x 10.10.5

cc 3.6.0.248

 

i have signed cc trial try out lr i've never used before wanted try before buy. followed links first downloaded cc mac , through cc application able install lr. not open , quit each time launched , report issue window opened. after restarting cc , launching lr again open.

 

i unable within application click on opens new error message, there varying messages refer folders appear unable reached. researched little , found forums explaining if go finder , change permissions within these folders 'read , write' should solve issue.

 

i have uninstalled lr , reinstalled it. same issue.

i've unistalled cc , re downloaded , installed adobe website , downloaded lr , still unable work @ all.

 

i'm trying fix issue before trial runs out won't willing purchase product has far shown me doesn't work.

 

does have tip can fixed don't have lose faith in adobe!?!

 

try below steps

 

click on finder , on menu bar ( top side of screen) click on go > go to,folder

 

in window type ~/library , click on go

open application support > adobe , right click on lightroom folder , select info

under sharing , permission click on lock , unlock it

click on + add current user name , administrator if not added

then give read , write permission admin , user name.

click on gear icon , choose apply enclosed item

then click on lock

re-launch lightroom , check.
