InDesign copying, not moving, between split document?

greetings,

 

a few months ago, when moving pages in split/new window, moved layout page page without problem.

 

but last few month, instead of moving layouts, it's copying items. original page layout stays was, , copied new page.

 

this in on same document, split or add new screen (have tried both options no new success) original document , move. if pages right next each other on split screen, layout copying, not moving.

 

is there setting causing this? 3 months ago working fine.

 

i using indesign 2015cc on el capitan system.

this behavior now, both in split screen was, , in new window well.

 

the work around know cut , paste. grrr, works.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
