Basic help drawing a series of curves

i want draw series of curves/waves using simple template. able match curve of first one, though unable match others. can give me advice on i'm doing wrong?

your first curve looks great coming second anchor point, it's coming out of anchor point that's not quite right. use old school technique here (both taught in book) try this:

 

draw first curve did:

• press , drag straight @ anchor point 1, release mouse
• press , drag straight down @ anchor point 2, release mouse
• return anchor point 2, press alt/opt key , press , drag straight out of 2nd anchor point, release mouse
• press , drag straight down @ anchor point 3, release mouse
• return anchor point 2, press alt/opt key , press , drag straight straight out of 2nd anchor point, release mouse
• press , drag straight down @ anchor point 4, release mouse
• return anchor point 4, press alt/opt key , press , drag straight out of 2nd anchor point, release mouse

 

look @ way: drag way want curve go, anchor point 1 , anchor point 2 down. 2 turns on that's why return 2, press alt/option , drag up.
