Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable version

i updating vulnerability pointing microsoft visual c++ redistributable 2008 upgrade .4148 latest .6161 on both path x86 , x64 in os windows server 2012. scan came clean. done,,,,

i noticed redistributable old machine x64 os microsoft server 2012, try figure out why have installed in virtual machine redistributable.

i found out have installed adobe acrobat reader dc mui 2015 version product 15.6.30172.184584 , resides in program files x86. adobe application needs redistributable, if resides in x64 machine , microsoft office applications installed (pdf creation add-on) able send emails , resolve 64 addresses via 64 bit microsoft outlook. neither x64 acrobat version nor capabilities mention later needed machine or @ least not present.

so getting familiar installation , deployment of adobe acrobat reader dc. concluded there need redistributable according 32 or 64 bit version installed in x64 machine.

which version of redistributable microsoft visual c++ needed?

i have found

for acrobat dc:

  • download , install microsoft visual c++ 2013 (x64) runtime microsoft download center. can download vcredist_x64.exe , install double-clicking it.

can remove microsoft visual 2008 (x64) , leave x86 due version installed 32 bit, or should remove 1 , installed adobe acrobat dc 64 after installing microsoft visual c++ 2013 (x64)?

any suggestion appreciated.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...
