Find products with alphabet list?

looking way have list @ top of catalog a  b  c  d  e... z visitors can click letter , products starting letter, end view of products.

 

thought had seen somewhere few years ago -- pointers?

guess it's alot easier using module_data, should starting point:

 

{module_data resource="products" version="v3" fields="id,name" where="\{'name':\{'$beginswith':'a'\}\}" order="id" collection="mydata"}

 

<pre>{{mydata|json}}</pre>

 

you can add additional conditions particular catalog (only show products in current catalog example).
