Catalog issue after reinstall

my wife photoshop elements 13 user trying this.

 

her older pc crashed , we've replaced newer machine, both running windows 10 changing 32 64 bit system.  hadn't backed default catalog have done full system backups of both our machines on external hard drive, have access original catalog folder in original program data files. have recovered pictures , related files old original hard drive , on hard drive being used solely pictures, along side new ssd runs os , apps.

 

i, not being familiar elements, tried use catalog 'recover' import original catalog external hd back-up refuses perform task , when map location, says files cannot found.

 

is there way catalog on new installation?  if can't import folder, going try physically move folder contents new system thought better check first see if that's appropriate, , if is, should folder go in order ensure read?

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

Illustrator cs6 "Invalid Serial Number"

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
