Tips for a newbie wanting to remove lens flare

hi,

i have drone footage needs correction. theres lots of white sun belting down.

i did have cp filter on.

 

i know need read manuals & watch lots of videos wondering if tips fast track need or research further.

 

attaching couple of stills footage demonstrate issue.

ouch ... that's lot of "flare".

 

what scopes showing ... there there or blown 100+ on scales of rgb parade or waveform? that's past 100 gone ... way tell if bring either offset (left wheel/slider) or gain (right wheel/slider) luma controls (the vertical slider next color wheels) down, nothing above 100, have peaks or flat line across top?

 

if you've got flat line, there's clipping going on , there ain't nothin' recover. ... how screen grab of scopes below top 100 line?
