How to open Nikon D610 Raw files using DNG converter on Windows Vista? [Was: Photo Shop Ex. Suit 5.5]

  hello know my  5.5 never open raw image  ( nikon d 610 )
    have downloaded  adobe dnc 5.5 still not convert raw-neff images dnc  !!
     bought adobe creative suite 5.5 design premium expensive !!
      there version of dnc ii should download instead of 5.5 ?
        please advise appreciated
         there has way 5.5
          don't want use cloud or pay monthly fee !!!
      
      have canon ipf 6200 , own printing
      happy paid 5.5

please download latest version of dng converter ,then try converting images.

windows: adobe dng converter

mac os: adobe dng converter

Catalog issues

in lightroom 5 tried open photo files by hitting open catalog. hit on lightroom 5 catalog icon, didn't show me files. it asked me if wanted relaunch. did relaunch , cannot find of photo files unless got "computer" on pc.   my catalogue stored in external drive. when relaunched, saw no mention made of external dirve, whole lot of writing referring c drive.   could please answer following.     1)what have done relaunching? in two lightroom books find no mention of word.   2)how return things normal , find photos in (external drive?) catalog?   when you're looking photo files, open catalog?     thank you,   al marotta i don't understand did, i'm guessing have accidentally opened wrong catalog.   in lightroom, go file->open recent , select each of catalogs shown there see if contains photos want.
