Customizing Process Circle Widget

we've added process circle widget our courseware, unhappy way it's functioning.

 

at moment, we've got 5 buttons on circle--that's fine. however, if click on button not directly left of active button, widget spins fast--this confusing learners. also, position of active button not ideal.

 

 

the red circle current location of active button, we'd go in location of green circle.

 

so, clear, i'm not captivate developer. i've never used it. however, i've been tasked finding solutions above complaints. pretty in flash, , may route take solve these issues.

 

in nutshell, can of following done directly in captivate:

1. modify spin speed of circle (it better if modified change speed based on 'distance' of clicked button active button)
2. only allow option directly left of active button clicked
3. move position of active button

 

if not, there way manually modify widget's source files (essentially creating new, custom widget original), , if so, how done?

 

if not possible, best way develop custom widget scratch? can done in flash?

 

we're using captivate 8 , flash cs 5.5

i understand mean speed etc interaction/widget.

sorry tell cannot controlled. in earlier versions of cp, source code available widgets. can still find code in gallery\widgets\source. more recent interactions process circle not case. interactions compatible html5, widgets not. have at:

i cannot creation, possible using file, new project, widget in flash.  still work flow, since limited swf output?
