Performance Issues

i see issues performance when importing/ , editing photos. not sure why or else if missing anything.

 

my systems specs follows

fully updated cc lr/windows 10/hardware drivers.

 

intel 4970 3.9ghz quad core

32gb of 2166 ram

256gb samsung 850pro m.2 ssd

120gb samsung 850 mpci ssd

evga gtx970 hybrid

 

i have tried

disabling graphics

i have moved cache 120gb drive , cache set 120gb

and double checked file handling settings well.

 

any appreciated. 

can go more detail doing when slow downs happen , how things slow down?

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...
