Strange behavior when saving PDF as optimized

i noticed strange happening when saving optimized. before:

and after:

notice small caps dropped out , large space inserted between organiza , tions. sent file colleagues running same osx (10.11.5) , same acrobat (2015.016.20039). got same results while others didn't small caps dropping out , space.

any idea causing this? ever since switching dc we've had other problems such being unable combine files in dc able combine in xii , exporting pdf in filemaker causing crashes.
