How to let users pan around an interactive floor plan

hi there!

i creating tutorial in captivate, 1 of sections includes floor plan showing users things found looking @ building floor plans.

the pdf image have large show static image, had idea of letting user select & want navigate & let them zoom image & pan around showing them further detail lost when zoomed benefit of showing whole floor plan on screen.

 

so summarise, following -

create 'to' & 'from' input box draw route (which need draw need avoid walls etc...)

both before or after inputting data & displaying paths, allow user zoom & pan around floor plan can see route is.

 

hopefully can this.  don't have clue start!!

 

a massive in advance.

in animate, add oversize floor plan smaller stage , allow user pan floor plan on stage various input methods.

 

i'd convert floor plan vector it's large and/or break several pieces , use goto's allow user navigate 1 piece another.
