Color/Fill 8 Sections at once

greetings wisconsin!!

i guess best way ask this, is... presume i've loaded black , white image of pizza cs6.

i divide pizza 8 identical wedges, when start color mushroom in 1 section, colors mushroom in of slices.. sorta mirror action replicated automatically in identical place in each 'wedge".

so want color 1 slice of pie, have of them colored when finish one...

ps.. did search , many other forums looking answer; worded differently cs6 in office forums i'm more familiar with.. filters/layers/gradients... ugh!! help??

in photoshop, isn't possible live view, if create wedge-shaped smart object, copied 7 times, edit 1 smart object , have them updated @ once on save. dilemma is, smart object open in new window, separate psb file. you'll have save edits window see updates in main file.

 

i use technique create picture packages (i.e. 1 5x7, 2 3x5s, 4 wallets on single sheet).
