Is it possible in Acrobat Pro or DC Pro to place a label on each pdf showing that pdf's file name and a unique number? Does it involve special scripting of the Dynamic Stamps?

i wanting store batch of pdfs.  want place on each document visible annotation or label showing file name , unique number or barcode. how can done?  thank you.

the simplest way create unique number date @ time file saved. javascript date object has gettime() function, displays number of milliseconds since reference date (which, think, january 1st, 1990, midnight). of number, 1 could, example, take last 10 or digits, keep number readable.

 

when apply stamp, therefore need little script:

 

var myid = new date().gettime() ;

 

(as base), , use variable value stamp.

 

it possible create field information, , (if there no other annotations (fields, comments, links, etc.) in document, flatten them after filling). or, watermark function work well.

 

the trigger event willsave.
