Locate a Locked Layer?

i've moment ran issue unable transform big group because contained locked layer.  document in question nicely structured (amazingly me ) , had 100 layers.  not able locate locked layer, because in nested group, couldn't see lock icon.  started trying use layer filters, of course, locked layers not 1 of options.  guess took me few minutes track down locked layer, work quickly, , sort of glitch disrupts workflow.

 

i worked out workaround.  twirl open group > select layers , groups > lock , unlock, , clears hidden lock.  or use smart objects instead of groups — can ft when contains locked layers, not appropriate project @ stage.  have liked know layer locked , why.

 

i'll make request on feedback site anyway, i'd interested on other people's take on this.

i don't know if speed things . . . can alt (win) opt (mac) click on little collapse/expand arrow next layer group , toggle showing layers , sub-groups within group.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

Illustrator cs6 "Invalid Serial Number"

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
