Can I query my LMS via AS3?

so having time-out issues captivate 8 , our 1.2 scorm lms.

we want able ( on timed command ) call see if lms still talking our cached modules.

so has been put around as3 widget checking see if lms has lost connection , if so, tell user it's time log in , start left off.

 

i have gleaned reading others discussions on this:

1. in scormdriver.js there functions might handle this,

2. command 1.2 scorm_calllmscommit();

3. used able redundant fscommand.

4. might able via browser using window.blah blah.

 

i love come out , can done following code in widget.

 

so here hoping.
