Photoshop Has Died and Gone Away

ok, here's one.  photoshop interface comes 3 white dots red,yellow , green ones should be.  also, image thumbnail , layers appear in right hand column.  navigator works.  there no image in main window!  have re-stated both p'shop , computer; have reset workspace. can't think of else try , folks in india aren't available on saturday.  ideas?  hate idea of no p'shop whole week-end!!

have reset preferences?

 

to reset preferences default settings, follow these steps:

 

quit application

 

hold down shift+ctrl+alt (windows) or cmd+opt+shift (mac) startup. on windows, have 1/10 of second between these steps. on mac, can hold down keys, launch application.

 

continue hold down keys until reset preferences dialog appears.

 

in reset preferences dialog, click yes.

 

the file containing preferences deleted, , recreated begin working.

 

a second option post screen shot can see if else going on.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

Illustrator cs6 "Invalid Serial Number"

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
